A woman in Kaduna, Linda Stephen, has asked a customary court to dissolve her marriage, citing her husband Felix Stephen’s excessive sexual demands and alleged physical abuse.
Linda told the court that her husband forces himself on her for hours and becomes violent if she refuses, making their six-year marriage unbearable. Felix admitted to the issue but pleaded for another chance, promising to change.
The judge adjourned the case until May 6 for reconciliation efforts, urging both parties to maintain peace.
