Youths Take Over GTBank Over VDN Arrest

A crowd of angry Nigerian youths stormed a GTBank branch in Abuja to protest the reported arrest of popular online activist, Verydarkman. The protesters held placards and chanted “Free VDM” as they demanded his immediate release.

Reports say Verydarkman was allegedly picked up shortly after visiting the bank, though no government agency has confirmed holding him. His fans believe he is being punished for speaking out on social issues.
