Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has extended a generous hand to the 1,215 youth corp members serving in the state. With a heartening gesture, each member will receive N30,000 as part of the allocated N36.4 million. Zulum’s visit to the NYSC orientation camp further emphasized his commitment to their well-being.
Not stopping at monetary support, Zulum has also arranged special provisions including 100 bags of rice, 10 cows, 10 bags of 100 kg beans, and 10 gallons of cooking oil. These offerings are intended to create a memorable dining experience during the ongoing three-week orientation camp.
Addressing the corp members, Zulum urged them to abide by camp rules, embrace unity, and contribute to national peace. He expressed his appreciation to the Federal Government for its efforts in restoring security in Borno State, which allowed the return of the NYSC orientation camp after 13 years of suspension.
