Adedapo Idowu, a 94-year-old Nigerian man, has inspired many by registering for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to fulfill his lifelong dream of tertiary education. His story was featured in JAMB’s latest bulletin, where he shared his excitement about pursuing education despite his advanced age.
Idowu expressed his joy, stating, “I can now attain my dream at an advanced age.” He encouraged others not to give up on their aspirations, regardless of age or
circumstances.
He also praised JAMB’s staff for their warm reception during his registration, noting that the process made him feel a strong sense of belonging. His determination has sparked admiration nationwide.
