Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to the drama involving her colleagues Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham at the movie premiere, The Return of Arinzo.

A viral video from the event showed Funke Akindele sitting at a table with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe when Toyin Abraham approached to greet them. While Iyabo and Mercy responded to the greeting, Funke reportedly turned her face away and did not acknowledge Toyin, creating an awkward moment.

Toyin appeared embarrassed and quietly left the table, and the incident quickly sparked reactions online.

Reacting through a post on her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo said she had previously tried to settle the disagreement between both actresses. She revealed that she had begged them to make peace and they both agreed, with a promise not to throw shade at each other online.

According to her, the latest tension started in December when Toyin complained that some people were trying to sabotage her movie in cinemas, and some fans later pointed fingers at Funke Akindele.

Iyabo expressed sadness about the situation and said she had done her best to bring peace between them but would no longer get involved in the matter.

She also noted that there is enough space for everyone in the industry and believes both actresses will eventually resolve their issues when they are ready.
