Jennifer Odonwodo, wife of late Nollywood actor JohnPaul Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, has shared the heartbreaking moment she received the news of her husband’s death.

In a post on Instagram marking the anniversary of the tragic incident, Jennifer described the call she received as the most devastating moment of her life. She said she initially believed it was a prank when she was told that the boat carrying the actor had capsized during a film production outing.

According to her, the reality became clear when she arrived at the scene and saw a vehicle carrying her husband’s lifeless body. The shock reportedly caused her blood pressure to rise dangerously, leading to her hospitalisation. Jennifer said the loss has been difficult for the family but expressed gratitude for God’s strength as she continues to care for their children and loved ones.
