Nigerian clergyman Pastor David Ibiyeomi has shared a personal testimony about faith and obedience during a church sermon. The pastor recounted how, in 1997, his monthly salary was just ₦5,000 when his wife told him she needed money to go to the market.
According to him, he felt led by God to give the entire ₦5,000 as a sacrifice despite their financial situation. He said that less than an hour later, a woman arrived with ₦25,000 and food items such as rice, beans, and eggs, saying she was instructed to deliver them to a pastor in town.
Pastor Ibiyeomi explained that the act of obedience led to further breakthroughs for his family, including receiving ₦1 million from the same person and a job opportunity in Abuja. He used the story to encourage believers to act in faith, saying hesitation can prevent blessings from unfolding.
