According to Prince George, he had planned to surprise Bella Shmurda, Mohbad’s best friend and fellow artist, by bringing Mohbad to Bella Shmurda’s show in Canada. He had even sent a message to Mohbad’s manager on the day of his death to inform him that Mohbad’s visa had been approved, only to receive the tragic news of Mohbad’s sudden and mysterious death.
Bella Shmurda, who was present at the event, expressed his deep sorrow and shock over the loss of his close friend and collaborator. He described Mohbad as his brother, best friend, and someone he had seen shortly before leaving Nigeria. Bella Shmurda recounted how he received the devastating news just days after their last meeting, making the situation even more surreal.
