NNPC Denies Recruitment, Issues Warning to Job Seekers

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has issued a warning, once again, regarding fraudulent recruitment claims circulating on social media. The company has explicitly stated that it is not currently engaged in any recruitment activities.

In a statement shared on its official social media handle, the NNPCL emphasized that Nigerians should exercise caution and not fall victim to these false recruitment claims. This is not the first time the company has had to address such misleading information.

Previously, in August 2017, NNPCL had issued a similar cautionary statement regarding fake recruitment posts on social media. Subsequently, in both October and December 2021, the company reiterated its warning, urging Nigerians to ignore any fraudulent recruitment claims.

NNPC made it clear that when a genuine recruitment exercise takes place, it will be officially announced on the company’s website and official social media platforms. Therefore, individuals seeking information about job opportunities with NNPC should rely solely on these official sources to avoid falling prey to scams and misinformation.
