Man in Lagos Arrested For Using Kids With Fake Stomach tumour to Beg

Onyedika Esiala, a middle-aged man from Enugu State, has been apprehended. On Wednesday, he was seen using children who had a fake stomach tumor to beg for money in Mile 2, Lagos.

Esiala was made public by a bystander named Benefit. He claimed that his supposed boss, Uche, started this when he spoke with reporters.

Every year, when Uche visits the country’s eastern region, he allegedly brings children with him to Lagos.

“I’m Onyedika, and I’m from the state of Enugu. Uche is my oga. I had no work waiting for me when I arrived in Lagos, so he asked me to assist him in taking these kids out to beg.

“My Oga will give the kids drugs, though I don’t know what they are called, that will cause their stomachs to swell for a few hours whenever I am going to transport the kids from Orile to the Mile 2 pedestrian bridge, and the moms of the kids are aware of the transaction. Their mothers remain in the community.

Before they sent the kids to my Oga to travel to Lagos, the kids were living with them in the village. Although their mother frequently takes the girls to my Oga, the girls are not my sisters. Some children stay with us for an entire year, and their moms in the village receive half of the money they earn from begging. Black drugs is what my Oga gives them.

“My Oga brought one of the children in December of last year, while the other girl stayed with us for three months. One of them is a boy, but he wasn’t there today since he wasn’t feeling well.
“We don’t always visit. Sometimes, we visit three times per week. My oga is Uche, and I don’t know the precise location of another group of people that reside at Ajagbadi. Different from the person handling us in Mile 2 is the person handling that of Ajagbadi. Goodluck is the name, but he has traveled and is not now in Lagos; his younger brother is in control,” he continued.

Onyedika was thoroughly questioned before being brought to the Nigeria Police Station Area E, Festac, and turned over to the authorities.
