President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mohammed Isa as his Senior Special Assistant on Disability Matters. The announcement was made by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President, Media & Publicity. According to Ngelale, Tinubu’s decision to appoint Isa is in line with his commitment to ensuring that every segment of society is adequately catered to within the framework of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.
Isa is described as a distinguished champion of persons with disabilities with over a decade of experience in local and international advocacy on matters concerning persons with disabilities. He holds a degree in Public Administration with honors from the University of Maiduguri, where he also earned a Master in Public Administration in 2017.
