Unknown gunmen are said to have slain four individuals, including security personnel, in the Aguluzigbo community of Anambra State’s Anaocha Local Government Area.
According to reports, the unidentified hoodlums stormed the community on Tuesday early and began firing.
This, however, resulted in gunshot exchanges between them and security officers in the region.
According to sources, the gunfight began in the morning and lasted several hours, causing panic in the area.
Videos from the situation, which are currently trending on social media, backed up the incident.
When approached about the development, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, the state Police public relations officer, verified the event but claimed information were still sketchy
“Yes,” Ikenga replied. This morning, there was a shooting incident between some militants and security personnel in the Aguluzigbo village.For the time being, the information is hazy, and any additional specifics will be accessible until we have the whole picture of what happened. However, our soldiers are currently in command of the situation.”
