Access Bank CEO Wife, Son And 3 Others Dies in Helicopter Crash.

In a devastating incident that has sent shockwaves through the business community, Access Holdings CEO, Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba, and four others lost their lives in a fatal helicopter crash in California.

The tragic event unfolded around 10 pm on Friday near Boulder City, situated between Nevada and California. According to police reports, the helicopter took off from Palm Springs airport at approximately 8:45 pm, en route to Las Vegas. However, the accident occurred before reaching its destination.

The ill-fated flight carried not only the CEO, Herbert Wigwe, but also his wife Chizoba, their son, and Abimbola Ogunbajo, the Group Chairman of the Nigeria Export Group. Despite swift emergency responses, there were no survivors, and all occupants perished on the spot.

Herbert Wigwe, a respected figure in the banking industry, was 57 years old at the time of the tragic incident. He had been serving as the CEO and Managing Director of Access Bank Holdings, succeeding his business partner, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede.
