AA Reelects Adekunle Rufai Omoaje as National Chairman.

Kaduna, Nigeria – In a decisive move, the Action Alliance (AA) has reelected Adekunle Rufai Omoaje as its National Chairman. The announcement was made in a statement released on Saturday by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Olu Omotosho. Omoaje’s reelection took place during the party’s elective convention held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The convention, as stated in the press release, was conducted in the presence of representatives from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and was also observed by security agencies to ensure a fair and transparent process.

Among those elected alongside Omoaje at the convention were Alhaji Ibrahim Yisah as the Deputy National Chairman, Prince (Dr) Awolola Awofala as the National Financial Secretary, comrade Olu Omotosho as the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeyemo as the National Youth Leader, Barr. Abiodun Rufai as the National Legal Adviser, and Mrs. Aisha Abdulahi as the National Women Leader, among others.

Chairman of the electoral committee, Mr. Oladele Sunday, emphasized that the party opted for the Option A4 system to elect its leaders, showcasing its commitment to transparency. He expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stating, “The election was transparent, and the most acceptable candidates emerged at the end of the process. The process that produced all the leaders was free and fair.”

In his acceptance speech, the reelected National Chairman, Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, pledged to provide efficient leadership for the party and affirmed the commitment to serving Nigerians. He expressed his dedication to leading the party towards fulfilling its promises and playing a significant role in Nigeria’s political landscape.

The reelection of Omoaje and the appointment of other party officials signal AA’s intent to remain a relevant and influential force in Nigerian politics, promising to continue to serve the interests of the Nigerian people.
