Awolaja, himself a resident of Isara Remo like the late professor, shared, “I just confirmed from a friend not long ago. Prof was said to be going to Ibadan when he had the accident. This is sad.”

At the age of 66, Odemuyiwa had made significant contributions to education in Ogun State, serving as a lecturer at both Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, and Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun. His passion for vocational and technical education endeared him to many, and his untimely passing has left a void in the academic community.
