Three communities in Entekpa Ward, Adoka District, Otukpo Local Government Area, Benue State have been attacked by the armed bandits that are terrorizing some areas of the state.
It was revealed to reporters that at least seven people died in the attack, which happened on Sunday night.
Locals report that there are still unidentified missing people in the impacted areas, which include Entekpa Ward’s Iwili, Umogidi, and Opaha.
Alfred Oketa Omakwu, the chairman of Otukpo Local Government Area, verified on Tuesday that the seven remains had been found by security personnel.
The state police command’s spokesperson, Catherine Anene, was unavailable when attempts were made to reach her.
