Bishop Oyedepo Warns: ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ is Digging Your Grave Unknowingly’

During the “Beware The God Of Gold Is On The Hunt For Precious Souls” session at the Breaking New Grounds event, Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, delivered a message to his congregation.

He emphasized that wealth is a facet of believers’ redemption, not a personal pursuit. Bishop Oyedepo clarified that money itself isn’t inherently wrong, but the worship and love of money can lead to wrongdoing. He highlighted instances where individuals who deviated from their covenant with God in their pursuit of excessive wealth are now facing challenges.

Using a biblical example, Bishop Oyedepo explained how Judas, driven by his greed for money, betrayed Jesus in order to buy land. He cautioned against the dangerous consequences of the love of money, which can drive people to make unwise and harmful choices.

He stated, “Judas was a land speculator, he was stealing to buy land, he now had a land to buy and there was no money that he could steal. The eyes of Peter, James and John were on the money, he said, “I better sell Jesus and buy this land. I don’t want to miss this land”. He sold his Master, because (the love of money) makes you mad. Jesus knew that Judas was a thief but if He ever mentioned it, Peter will cut his neck.”

Bishop Oyedepo also addressed illicit activities, specifically highlighting online fraud (yahoo yahoo) as an example. He strongly discouraged participation in such endeavors, as they erode one’s blessings and well-being. He encouraged individuals to seek lawful and ethical ways to earn income, ensuring a peaceful and prosperous life. Bishop Oyedepo’s teachings underscore the significance of maintaining a balanced perspective on wealth and prioritizing ethical conduct and spiritual values over the pursuit of money.

“Any illegitimate business that anyone is involved in here is digging your grace without knowing. Yahoo, Yahoo manipulations, if you are engaged in yahoo yahoo you are digging your grave without knowing, get out of it. There are decent legitimate ways to add genuine income and be at peace.”
