Brain Jotter Denies Claims of Colleague Copying His Comedy Style

Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, popularly known as Brain Jotter, has refuted claims that his fellow skit maker, Micheal Charles (OGB Recent), is copying his comedy style. Speaking on the Real Life Talk podcast, Brain Jotter dismissed the notion that OGB Recent is imitating him.

While acknowledging that OGB Recent’s skits may sound similar to his own, Brain Jotter emphasized that it doesn’t necessarily constitute copying. He clarified, “OGB is not copying me. I know him personally. He is my man to an extent. But I don’t know what you guys mean by copying me. I’ve never actually come out to say he’s copying me. I feel like he has my kind of voice but I don’t really think he’s copying me.”

This statement from Brain Jotter sheds light on the dynamics of inspiration and influence within the comedy industry, emphasizing that having a similar style or voice doesn’t necessarily equate to copying.
