Nigerian music sensation, Davido, has expressed concern for his fellow artist, Daniel Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, regarding his decision to take a break from the music scene.
The ‘Calm Down’ artist shared a brief statement on his Instagram page, announcing the cancellation of all December engagements to prioritize his health. Rema acknowledged neglecting his well-being during years of touring and emphasized the need for recovery.
In response, Davido took to Instagram, acknowledging the challenges of their profession and commending Rema for surpassing expectations, bringing pride to Africa and the world.
Davido’s supportive message read, “The job ain’t easy… physically and mentally!! You’ve done Africa and the world proud beyond expectations. Get some rest king @heisrema, come back stronger.”
