Details have reportedly emerged regarding Victor Osimhen’s conversation with Napoli’s sporting director about Manchester United’s interest.
The 26-year-old, currently on a season-long loan at Galatasaray, has a clause on his contract permitting a mid-season move if napoli recieves a suitable offer. Despite this, Osimhen allegedly turned down an approach from Manchester United, leaving the Napoli hierarchy frustrated.

Napoli had anticipated selling the Nigerian striker during the January transfer window and structured their plans accordingly. To facilitate the move, sporting director Giovanni Manna reportedly traveled to Turkey to discuss Manchester United’s offer with Osimhen directly. However, according to Turkish sources, the forward responded, “If they still want me, we will talk again in May.”
Osimhen’s stance indicated his intent to honour his commitment to Galatasaray for the remainder of the season. Earlier, he had assured fans of the Turkish champions that he would stay until the season’s end.
The former CAF Player of the Year has remained firm in his decision, showcasing the loyalty he has already built with Galatasaray supporters.
