Diddy Confronts New Sexual Assault Claims Following Resolution with Former Girlfriend

Due to accusations of sexual assault, American hip-hop star Sean “Diddy” Combs has been brought before the courts twice this month.

Joi Dickerson-Neal, the plaintiff in the current lawsuit, claimed in documents obtained by TMZ that Diddy had drugged and sexually assaulted her back in 1991 while she was a Syracuse University, current York, college student.

Neal claimed that she went on a date with the rapper at a Harlem restaurant and that he then brought her to a recording studio. She further stated that he might have given her medication during the dinner because, when she attempted to exit his car, she was hardly conscious and could not stand by her feet.

Neil claimed that after they left the studio, Diddy took her to a residence and raped her sexually. She added that the entertainment tycoon not only filmed the performance but also presented it to a number of viewers.
Under the New York Adult Survivors Act, which gives victims of sexual assault a one-year opportunity to file a civil action even after the statute of limitations has passed, the plaintiff filed the suit on Thursday. The deadline for the one-year period is Friday, November 24, 2023.
Diddy’s agent refuted the claims and called the lawsuit “a money grab.”

Diddy is dealing with his second case of sexual assault this month. In a lawsuit filed last week, his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, claimed that the artist had mistreated her both physically and sexually throughout their more than ten-year relationship.

Barely a day after the lawsuit was filed, Diddy agreed to a settlement despite first rejecting the charges.
