DJ Splash, formerly associated with Naira Marley’s Marlian Records, recently opened up about his troubling encounters during his stint with the record label. His revelations came to light during a visit from actress Iyabo Ojo, who showed her support for DJ Splash amid his ongoing legal battles involving Naira Marley and Zinoleesky.
DJ Splash recounted how things took a sinister turn within the label when he expressed his desire to pursue a career in music alongside his DJing. According to him, Naira Marley and his associates allegedly conspired against him, leading to severe mental health struggles and his eventual eviction from his place of residence.
He elaborated, “He doesn’t give me money and he doesn’t give me food. When I decided to start doing music apart from DJ, they planned to put something in my food to make me mad, Naira and his gang. Their plan was to put something in my food make me mad, plant something on me then call my mummy and tell her that something is wrong with me.”
With the support of his family, DJ Splash managed to escape his dire circumstances. However, he continues to grapple with mental health challenges, rendering him unable to work.
