Don’t Allow Spiritual Laziness to Hinder God’s Plans for You and Your Family – Faith Oyedepo

Faith Oyedepo, the wife of the General Overseer of Living Faith Chapel, popularly known as Winners Chapel, recently shared an important message on her Facebook page.

In her post, she emphasized the importance of not allowing spiritual laziness to hinder or rob us of the plans that God has for us and our families. Faith urged readers to turn their attention to the substance of God’s Word and avoid chasing after empty distractions. She reminded everyone that we are born to shine, and therefore, we should make God our primary focus and prioritize His Word in our lives. She said, “Don’t let spiritual laziness destroy or rob you of what God has planned for you and your family. Turn to the substance of the Word and stop chasing shadows. You are born to shine, so make God your focus and His Word your priority!”

She also highlighted the need to maintain a connection with God beyond times of crisis. She emphasized that God is fully aware of our situations and promises strength and guidance to His people. It is essential for us to listen to His voice and obediently follow His instructions.

Faith Oyedepo encouraged individuals to create space in their daily routines to engage in activities that deepen their relationship with God, such as reading and memorizing Scripture, meditating, praying, and journaling. She also stressed the importance of being part of a Christian community where one can pray, worship, and find mutual encouragement. Additionally, she advised finding opportunities for Christian service as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Her message serves as a reminder to prioritize our spiritual growth, remain connected to God, and actively seek His guidance and purpose in our lives.
