Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International, recently shared a powerful message through a YouTube video. In this message, he recounted a story of a woman who traveled from a francophone country to France for a crusade. This woman approached him with tales of distress, prompting him to initiate prayers on her behalf.
As the cleric attended to other individuals in need, he instructed the woman to recite a prayer that went, “I recover my spirit man by the power in the blood of Jesus!” However, to his surprise, she suddenly transitioned from praying to singing the words, “Eli Eli Eli, Lama Sabachtani, Hallelujah.” Dr. Olukoya recognized this as a peculiar occurrence, as those were the very words Jesus uttered on the cross, meaning, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”
Understanding that it was not the woman herself singing but rather the spirit that had held her captive, Dr. Olukoya took immediate action to silence the spirit and commanded the release of her own spirit. He then proceeded to reveal additional details about her circumstances, explaining that her husband, a high-ranking police officer, had been falsely accused by their daughter of rape. Without proper verification, her husband was unjustly imprisoned, ultimately leading to his tragic death behind bars. Later, the daughter confessed that she had fabricated the accusation due to her discontent with her father’s communication style, revealing her true motives for attacking him.
