Joseph, in his quote, explains the process of maturing in every aspect of our lives. It is the determination to constantly work on ourselves, checking for corrections before giving the grades. So it is in photography: it is not about the final result but enjoying the process that brings out the final result.
In order to enjoy the process of self-development, you have to be aware that there is no harm in trying repeatedly, no harm in making mistakes, and no harm in feeling free to express yourself until you grow to become a better person.
