Disqualified former BBNaija ‘Lockdown’ contestant, Erica Nlewedim, criticizes the show’s production team for their mishandling of leaks, especially after Ilebaye was declared the winner of Season 8.
It’s worth noting that an alleged insider had claimed, prior to the show’s finale, that the previous winner, Mercy Eke, had topped the polls, but the show organizers wanted Ilebaye to win.
After the announcement of the show’s winner, Erica expressed her disappointment on the X platform, urging the production team to improve their security measures to prevent leaks. She mentioned that she had known about Ilebaye’s victory since Saturday night, which spoiled the element of surprise for the show.
Erica stated in her post, “BBN production should do better with the leaks sha it was already known since last night.”
