The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, or NDLEA, has named an ex-beauty queen, Ms Aderinoye Queen Christmas, also known as Ms Queen Oluwadamilola Aderinoye.
According to a statement made on Sunday by Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, the suspect, Miss Commonwealth Nigeria Culture 2015/2016 and the creator of the Queen Christmas Foundation, engages in illegal drugs.
Babafemi stated that during the estate officials’ search of her home, 606 grams of Canadian Loud, a synthetic strain of cannabis, an electronic weighing scale, large quantities of drug packing plastics, a black RAV 4 SUV marked Lagos KSF 872 GQ, and her picture frame were discovered.
Similarly, the anti-narcotics agency claimed that two members of an international drug trafficking gang, Sunday Michael Owoborode, 52, and Valentine Anene, were detained the next day, Thursday, January 25, in Edu Orita, Ogun State.
According to the NDLEA, Valentine was planning to go to Qatar with some medicines the same day on a Qatar Airlines flight from Lagos.
According to the statement, when they were arrested, they were found with 1.8kg of cannabis, an electronic weighing scale, and other prohibited substances.
