- Substance Abuse
Regrettably, some individuals resort to using drugs to enhance their intimate experiences, which can be a potentially lethal decision. Mixing strong medications like opiate painkillers or alcohol during intercourse poses serious risks. Some may even combine alcohol with intimate enhancers or use marijuana and cocaine to amplify pleasure. However, these practices jeopardize their health, particularly their hearts.
Certain intimate enhancers can lower blood pressure, which, when combined with substances containing nitrates, becomes hazardous, leading to hypotension or extremely low blood pressure.
- Cardiac Arrest
Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a condition wherein the heart suddenly stops pumping blood to vital organs and the brain. Unlike heart attacks, the heart continues beating during a cardiac arrest.
