Real Housewives of Lagos cast member, Faith Morey, has openly criticized fellow co-star and Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, for her brash personality and her apparent attempts to disavow evident flaws.
Recently, Iyabo Ojo responded to the widespread criticism she faced in connection with her conflicts with Faith Morey on Season 2 of Real Housewives of Lagos. The actress acknowledged the numerous comparisons drawn between reality show events and real-life situations and cited the example of Mohbad. She also revealed that she had privately extended an apology to Faith.
In defense of her actions, Iyabo Ojo explained that reality shows are often subject to editing to convey a specific narrative. She emphasized that not every individual on the show should be portrayed as a victim, enabler, or peacemaker.
However, Faith Morey took issue with Iyabo’s statements, refuting Iyabo’s claim that she had received an apology. Faith clarified that RHOLagos is an unscripted show with no producer-imposed guidelines dictating housewives’ behavior. As such, she found no justification for Iyabo’s behavior.
Faith maintained that Iyabo couldn’t pretend to be someone else for an extended period of five months, emphasizing that Iyabo had harbored a dislike for her from the very first day they met.
In an extensive Instagram story post, she expressed her viewpoint.
