The FBI has confirmed multiple bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting nominees in Donald Trump’s incoming administration. The agency is working with law enforcement to ensure their safety amid these escalating threats.
One incident involved Elise Stefanik, nominated as UN ambassador, whose New York home was targeted while she traveled with her family. Similarly, Lee Zeldin, tapped to lead the EPA, faced a pipe bomb threat linked to a pro-Palestinian message, though his family was unharmed.
Other appointees, including John Ratcliffe and Pete Hegseth, have also faced threats, raising concerns over security as Trump prepares to return to office in January with a loyalist cabinet. Swatting incidents, a growing issue, continue to endanger senior political figures across the U.S.
