Federal High Court Dismisses Naira Abuse Case Against Cubana Chief Priest

LAGOS – The Federal High Court in Lagos State has dismissed the case against celebrity bartender Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, regarding allegations of Naira abuse. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned Okechukwu on April 17, charging him with three counts of spraying and mishandling Naira notes, violating Section 21(1) of the Central Bank Act of 2007. In his post, Cubana Chief Priest also advised his followers against mutilating the Naira, emphasizing the legal and financial implications of such actions. He concluded by urging his fans to switch to using dollars if necessary, while celebrating the favorable outcome of his legal battle.
