Meanwhile, Oyo State mourns another loss with the death of former lawmaker Hon. Hamid Babatunde Eesuola. Eesuola, who represented Atiba State Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), died on Thursday after a brief illness in Ibadan. Known for his community involvement, Eesuola was also the Chairman of the Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency, contributing significantly to social development in the area.
Eesuola’s passing is especially poignant as he was nearing the completion of his doctoral studies at the University of Ibadan’s Faculty of Education. Both leaders leave behind a legacy of commitment and service, and their contributions to Oyo State will be fondly remembered.
