Former LG Chairman Of Oyo Is Dead

Taoreed Jimoh Adedigba, the former Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, passed away on Friday. His passing was confirmed by a close relative, Olamiposi Ishola, who described Adedigba as a dependable and loving leader. Reflecting on Adedigba’s tenure, Ishola noted his dedication and the challenges he faced to create a lasting impact on the Akinyele community. He expressed his prayers for Adedigba, asking for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.

Meanwhile, Oyo State mourns another loss with the death of former lawmaker Hon. Hamid Babatunde Eesuola. Eesuola, who represented Atiba State Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), died on Thursday after a brief illness in Ibadan. Known for his community involvement, Eesuola was also the Chairman of the Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency, contributing significantly to social development in the area.

Eesuola’s passing is especially poignant as he was nearing the completion of his doctoral studies at the University of Ibadan’s Faculty of Education. Both leaders leave behind a legacy of commitment and service, and their contributions to Oyo State will be fondly remembered.
