The Gombe State Government House Permanent Secretary, Balarabe Poloma, has tragically passed away just one week before his scheduled retirement from service. Poloma had served under three different administrations as the Permanent Secretary of the Gombe State Government House. He was 60 years old at the time of his passing.
Governor Muhammadu Yahaya expressed his condolences and deep sorrow at the news of Poloma’s demise. In a press statement signed by the Director-General of Press Affairs, Ismaila Misilli, Governor Yahaya praised the late Permanent Secretary as an experienced lawyer and seasoned administrator. Poloma’s long and distinguished service was marked by dedication, hard work, diligence, and meticulous attention to detail.
Governor Yahaya prayed for the eternal rest of the deceased and extended his sympathies to Poloma’s family, associates, and the people of Gombe State. He acknowledged that the state was eagerly anticipating Poloma’s well-deserved retirement celebration, which was to take place next week.
