Every grown responsible adults dream is to be a parent. It brings so much joy to their faces to see a child of their own play around. When these children grows, they begin to help you do things around the house. Though, this world is changing and the generation we have found ourselves are not helping.
These days we see children getting addicted to things we were not addicted to at their age, some go to school to become shool happy and comes back with a strange behaviour and you begin to wonder if you raised your children in a good way or not.
How Is it possible to raise your children in these crazy times?
1.Communication: Unfortunately, parents do not have time for their wards, all they think of is their jobs and how to get more money. But they fail to realize that the reason for their job and money is their children. Parents should therefore sit with their children and ask them about how their day went in school, if they made new friends, then Tell them what they need to know about people, characters and how to live.
2. Discipline: Before you can raise up good and healthy children, you need to also be disciplined as a parents. The minds of children are innocent and they can easily imitate what they see, this is how they learn. So As a parent make sure you do the things you can be proud of and your children can imitate wherever they find themselves.
3. Be in charge of their education: Education is not only done in school, instead from the home. Pay attention to their studies and make sure you check their curriculum. Unfortunately, teachers aren’t really doing justice to teaching children the right things. So it is important for you to pay close attention to your children’s books.
4. Pray For Them: One important factor in life, is prayer. It isn’t enough to just talk to them and spend quality time with them. When you pray for and with your children, you are preparing them ahead for the journey of life, which needs to be directed by God.
Children are Imitators, they also have a mind of their own.Therefore be responsible parents and catch them young.
