INEC Delays Conclusion of Kogi State Governorship Election Results Collation to 7 p.m.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has decided to postpone the collation of results for the Kogi State governorship election until 7 p.m. on Sunday. The electoral body had already released results for 18 out of the 21 Local Government Areas, leaving three LGAs pending.

The State Returning Officer, Prof. Johnson Urama, made the announcement regarding the delay. Once the collation process resumes, the outstanding results will be disclosed, and the winner of the Kogi State governorship election will be officially declared. The decision to extend the collation timeframe has intensified anticipation among the public, political observers, and stakeholders, who eagerly await the final outcome of this significant electoral contest.
