Singer and co-founder of Five Star Music, Kcee, has responded to the allegations made by his former signee, Harrysong, regarding songwriting credits. In an interview on the Afrobeats podcast, He ridiculed Harrysong’s claims and provided his perspective on the matter.

Kcee clarified that during the time he and his former partner, Presh, won the Star Quest talent show and secured a deal with Kennis Music, Harrysong was still in the village with his grandmother. He emphasized that Harrysong joined the label afterward and was not involved in the early successes of Kcee and Presh.
The singer also expressed concern for Harrysong’s well-being, suggesting that he may need spiritual guidance, especially considering reported conflicts with his wife and former manager, Soso.
The ongoing dispute between Kcee and Harrysong highlights the complexities and challenges within the music industry, including disagreements over songwriting credits and artistic rights.
