Ademola Lookman has resumed light training ahead of Atlanta’s upcoming Serie A clash against Parma this weekend, offering a boost to the team.
The 27-yerar-old winger featured for Nigeria in their 2025 AFCON qualifier against Benin but left the Super Eagles camp early after an injury scare, causing him to miss their 2-1 loss to Rwanda in Uyo.

Lookman has been a standout performer for Atlanta this season and is considered one of the most consistent players in Serie A. According to Calcio News24, the former Everton star returned to light training on Wednesday, raising hopes that he could feature in the Parma fixture.
In addition to his on-field contributions, Lookman’s stellar form has earned him yet another recognition in a remarkable 2024 campaign. He has been nominated for the prestigious Forward of the Year award at the Gran Galà del Calcio, which honours the top performers in Serie A.
Lookman is up against notable contenders including Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martinez, and Rafael Leão, for the highly coveted accolade.
