Ahn’s talent agency, FN Entertainment, revealed that the two stars are taking their time to get to know each other with positive feelings. They requested fans to support the couple with warmth and understanding.
Jisoo’s label, YG Entertainment, also confirmed the romance, stating that the pair is currently acquainting themselves with each other “They are currently in the phase of acquainting themselves with each other,” YG told Yonhap. “We would appreciate it if you extend warm support and understanding.”
Both agencies made the unusual move of announcing the relationship publicly after Jisoo and Ahn were spotted together in Seoul, sparking dating rumors. Notably, Jisoo is the only Blackpink member officially confirmed to be in a relationship.
As Jisoo’s love life blooms, Blackpink’s Born Pink world tour is in full swing, with a much-anticipated stop at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on Aug. 26.
