A man in his late fifties died after suddenly collapsing on the roadside in the Oke-Abetu area of Abeokuta South Local Government in Ogun State, as reported by FINDWHOSABI Metro. According to witnesses, the man appeared healthy and did not collide with anything before slumping and passing away.
Efforts were made by the school located at the scene of the incident, in collaboration with community leaders, to have the government authorities remove the man’s remains, but it was unsuccessful. The school principal and the police took the corpse to two different hospitals in the area, but both facilities declined to accommodate it due to lack of space in their morgues. As a result, the man’s body was returned to the spot where he died.
The man’s identity remains unknown, and as no family members have been identified, health officials have been notified to bury him.
The sudden death of the man has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his demise, as he appeared to be in good health prior to the incident.
