Thousands of people took to the streets in cities like Washington, New York, Los Angeles, and even London and Berlin to protest against U.S. President Donald Trump. This became one of the biggest protests since Trump returned to the White House. Many people are angry over his government’s decisions on trade, human rights, and how he’s running the country. Some held up signs calling him a “king,” while others said he was hurting America’s image around the world.
In Washington, some came from far away to join the protest. A woman from New York said she was always angry because “privileged men” were making decisions for everyone. Others dressed up in costumes and carried messages calling out Trump’s views on women’s rights. Even in London, people joined in, saying Trump’s actions could cause a global economic crisis.
These protests were peaceful but very powerful. People of all ages, from grandparents to young parents with babies, came out. Though Trump still has strong supporters, protesters say they won’t keep quiet. “We will not go away,” one speaker shouted. Trump, however, says he stands by his decisions and will not change his policies.
