Kylian Mbappé, one of Real Madrid’s standout players, has voiced his displeasure with the Santiago Bernabeu crowd following their reaction during Los Blancos’ recent 5-2 extra-time victory over Celta Vigo.
Mbappé, who opened the scoring and delivered an impressive performance, was critical of fans who whistled at players, including Aurelien Tchouameni, Lucas Vazquez, and Ferland Mendy.

The tension stemmed from Real Madrid‘s earlier 5-2 loss to Barcelona, which left the Bernabeu faithful frustrated. During the Celta Vigo match, the crowd expressed their dissatisfaction, singling out Tchouameni and Mendy for harsh criticism.

Visibly upset by the crowd’s reaction, Mbappé celebrated his goal reportedly shouting, “You don’t whistle the badge,” sending a clear message to fans about their treatment of the team.

Later, Mbappé took to Instagram, sharing a story that hinted at his disapproval. Tchouameni also responded on Instagram with a reflective post stating, “What doesn’t kill you…”
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti addressed the situation with his characteristic pragmatism. He described the whistles as a “wake-up-call” for the team but emphasized that such reactions are part of playing at the Bernabeu.

“The Bernabeu whistled as a warning, and when the game got complicated, they pushed,” Ancelotti said. “It’s part of football here. Tchouameni, in particular, played a great game and showed his character.”
Despite the criticism, Ancelotti praised the team’s performance in extra time and highlighted their resilience. The squads’ ability to stay united and rise above adversity will be key as they navigate the challenges of the season ahead.
