Oladimeji Joseph Aloba, the father of Mohbad, has spoken out in response to allegations made by Wunmi, claiming that he requested Liam’s placenta after the child’s birth.
Wunmi, also known as Omowunmi Aloba, the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba’s wife and Mohbad’s wife, had previously revealed the reasons behind her strained relationship with her father-in-law.
During her testimony at the Lagos Coroner Inquest, Omowunmi explained that the rift between her and her father-in-law began after the birth of Liam. She further elaborated that the tension arose due to her refusal to give him her son Liam’s placenta.
Upon questioning her husband about Joseph’s request, Mohbad’s wife stated that she declined based on advice she had received.
In response to Wunmi’s allegations, Mohbad’s father shared his perspective on social media.
“God please have mercy on me. They said I asked for the placenta of my own grandson. Doesn’t the son belong to the father? I don’t know what they said I did that they keep talking about me everywhere? May Adabi judge between us.”
