Popular skit maker and Nollywood actor, Debo Adedayo, known as Mr Macaroni, has clarified that he is not seeking financial assistance despite revealing that he is battling a ₦500 million debt. He explained that his financial struggles were due to reckless spending and generosity, which led him to borrow money after losing his savings.
Macaroni admitted that 2024 had been a turning point in his career but also his most challenging year financially. He also mentioned feeling betrayed by someone he considered a close friend. However, with the support of family and real friends, he said he is in a much better place than before.
Following his revelation, fans and colleagues expressed willingness to assist him, but the comedian has firmly declined any donations. He emphasized that he shared his story to help others learn from his mistakes, not because he needed financial help.
