“Mu’azu-Olukosi’s Ambition for Gbajabiamila’s Seat in the 10th NASS Explained”

Jamila Omobolanle Mu’azu-Olukosi, a dedicated member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), is stepping forward to represent Surulere Constituency 1 in Lagos State as a House of Representatives candidate. Her aim is to fill the vacancy left by Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, who was recently appointed Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

With a focus on progressiveness, quality assurance, human capacity, and community development, Mu’azu-Olukosi possesses impressive educational qualifications and over two decades of experience in Human Resource Management. She is also known for her philanthropy and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Having served the ruling party loyally, Mu’azu-Olukosi has actively supported various candidates during elections and engaged in community empowerment efforts. Over the past 16 years, she has consistently pursued her aspiration to serve the people of Surulere Federal Constituency 1.

Holding a Masters degree in Youth Development Studies from the Open University, England, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Human Resources Management from the University of Plymouth, England, Mu’azu-Olukosi brings a wealth of international experience, including work with organizations like Barongrove Development United Kingdom and Whirlwind International Limited.

She has actively contributed to the party, holding roles such as Member of the ICG Mobilization Directorate, Deputy Director of Foot-soldiers Directorate, Secretary of Foot-soldiers Directorate, and more.

Mu’azu-Olukosi is now reminding President Tinubu and his wife of their promise to ensure 35% female representation in the government at all levels. She seeks the party’s and the President’s support, as well as that of the First Lady, to represent her people and replace Gbajabiamila in the lower chamber. This, she believes, will affirm the President’s pledge, break barriers for women in politics, and provide the people with quality and effective representation in the House of Representatives.
