A multiple accident occurred at Car Park C on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, resulting in injuries to at least 13 individuals. The incident, which took place around 4:55 am, involved five vehicles and 22 people, according to the spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun, Mrs Florence Okpe.
The vehicles involved in the accident included three trucks, a Toyota Corolla with the registration number MUS 793 HM, and a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number FG 369-F20. The injured victims were promptly taken to Famobis Hospital Mowe for medical attention.
The cause of the accident was attributed to speeding, and the FRSC emphasized the need for motorists to exercise caution and drive defensively. The state Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, provided advice to drivers to promote road safety.
