Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan says she’s not worried about Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s reported plan to sue her. Natasha had accused Akpabio of asking ex-Kogi governor Yahaya Bello to arrange her recall and even plot her assassination. She made the shocking claim during a rally in Ihima, Kogi State.
According to Her,, Akpabio first approached the current Kogi Governor, Usman Ododo, who reportedly refused, saying the people still support her. She alleged that Akpabio then turned to Bello, promising him funds to push for her removal and death. The Senator said she is ready to face Akpabio in court if he goes ahead with the case.
When asked on Channels TV if she could prove her claims, She replied that the failed recall attempt was already proof something was going on. “We’ll cross that bridge when we get there,” she said.
