The Organized Labour is determined to take action if the petrol pump price, currently at 617 naira, goes up again. NLC President, Joe Ajaero, declared this during a meeting in Abuja. He stressed that any further increase would be considered “illegal.”
At the same event, organized labour emphasized the importance of not undermining their demands. The Findwhosabi previously reported that oil marketers anticipate petrol prices rising to 680-720 naira per liter due to a weakening currency and forex shortages.
Despite this, organized labour had initially postponed an indefinite strike after discussions with President Bola Tinubu.
