Former Nigerian champion Favour Ashe faces accusations of theft and fraud amounting to N13 MILLION.
Renowned Nigerian sprinter and Auburn University standout athlete, Favour Ashe, has been apprehended in the US over allegations of engaging in multiple instances of theft and fraud.
Ashe, who clocked an impressive 6.53s in the 60m event to commence his 2024 season, is recognized as a promising talent in the sprinting world.

According to news.yahoo.com, the 21-year-old has been charged with four counts of fraudulent use of a debit/credit card and two counts of third-degree theft of property.
Authorities were notified on Feb. 4 about the theft of several items, including a credit card, from a purse near the 100 block of West Magnolia Avenue. Subsequently, the victim discovered numerous unauthorized charges made using the stolen card.
Following the issuance of arrest warrants, Ashe, identified as a suspect, surrendered himself to the authorities. He has since been detained in Lee County Jail, where he awaits legal proceedings with a bail set at $9,000.
As a student at Auburn University, Ashe has garnered numerous accolades in collegiate competitions, solidifying his reputation as one of the NCAA’s top sprinters and a promising star for the future generation.
