In a recent statement, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has categorically stated that there have been no changes in the pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, at its retail outlets nationwide.
Speculations had arisen regarding a purported reduction in petrol price to N560 per litre, down from N568, along with an increase in diesel price to N920 per litre, as reported by Findwhosabi News.
However, NNPC swiftly dispelled these rumors through its spokesperson, Femi Soneye, in a statement released on Wednesday.

“The company asserts that these reports are false and urges Nigerians to disregard them entirely,” stated Soneye.
NNPC emphasized its commitment to maintaining the current supply sufficiency of petroleum products across all its retail stations throughout the country.
